The “New Song”

A new song is a fresh outpouring of praise to God, often in response to His salvation or revelation.

- In Psalm 40:3: God delivers, and a new song of praise follows.

- In Psalms 96, 98, 149: Calls to “sing a new song” for His marvelous deeds.

- In Revelation 5:9; 14:3: The redeemed sing a new song before God’s throne, celebrating Christ’s redemption.

The “New Heart”

A new heart represents inner transformation and renewal by God, replacing hardness with responsiveness.

- In Ezekiel 36:26: God promises a new heart and spirit.

- In Psalm 51:10: David prays for a pure heart and steadfast spirit.

- In 2 Corinthians 5:17: In Christ, believers become a new creation.
